What is included with a rental?
All band instruments come with the instrument, case and a mouthpiece and ligature (if applicable)
Orchestra instruments come with instrument, case, graphite composite bow, and rosin.
Any additional accessories are purchased separately.
How long do I have to keep the instrument?
You can return the instrument at any time! You're not locked into any specific length of time while renting an instrument from us.
If you're done with your rental, just bring it back to our store.
What if I want to buy my instrument?
All of our rentals are rent-to-own, meaning every base payment (not including maintenance fees) you make go towards you owning that instrument!
If at any time you'd like to purchase your rental instrument outright, we offer a 30% discount on the remaining amount owed.
My instrument is broken! What do I do?
Bring the instrument back to us and we will take care of you! All rentals are required to have the maintenance plan, which covers all your regular wear and tear. It isn't uncommon for an instrument to need a little TLC every now and again.
I'm renting a 1/4 size violin, and now my student needs a 1/2 size. Does my equity apply?
Your student will likely need to size up a few times while renting an orchestra instrument. Orchestra instruments can be exchanged for the
next fractional size up and all equity applies to the new size.

I'm still renting my student model instrument, but I really want to purchase a step-up model.
We offer an exchange program for step-up model instruments! We can apply up to 24 months of base rental payments towards the retail price of a intermediate or pro-level instrument.
My credit/debit card expired! How do I make sure my rental payments keep going through?
Drop by the store, or give us a call at 503-809-0777 so we can update your card information!

Once an account is created, you will be able to log in and update your information at any time.
Can you ship my rental to me?
At this time, our rentals can not be shipped. Rentals that are completed online must either be picked up at our store, or dropped off at the selected school if the rental is for a student attending that school.
